Dear friends,
It’s the final activity of the Scouts for Gender Equality project, and YOU ARE ALL INVITED!
The pandemic should not jeopardize the fragile gains that have been made on gender equality and efforts within our Scout Organisations. So, join us on 24, 25 and 26 June 2021 for two online evenings focused on Gender Equality and a full day of diverse workshops for you to attend based on your time and interests.
Discover the completed NSO Projects, be there for the launch of Gender Equality Guidelines, invest in your own development and hear stories from our Human Library!
The full programme is indicated below, but the core elements are as follows:
- Summary of the Scouts for Gender Equality Project
- Guest speaker, HeForShe UN Women – Gender Responsive Guidelines
- Launching of the Regional Guidelines for Gender Equality
- Workshops: Gender Allyship, NSO best practise, HeForShe toolkit, and Gender Equality sex education for young people
- A Human Library
- Dialogue cafe- Gender Equality in Scouting
Together we will learn how to improve work with decision-makers to ensure gender is integrated in national and sub-national activities, as well as COVID-19 response plans, not only to achieve better outcomes for women and girls, but to achieve better outcomes for everyone.
